5 Tips for Energetic Hygiene on the Go


The world can feel sticky and icky sometimes.

Here are 5 ways I ensure I am reflexive, responsive, adaptive, and un-fuck-with-able.

Sound

  • Listen to healing frequencies like the Solfeggio Frequencies. I love having a background hum that reminds me I am held.

  • Listen to music that brings you joy.

  • Vocalize: hum, sing, exhale audibly.

Visualization

  • Imagine a bright white chord of light and wrap it around your body

  • When you travel, wrap the bright white light chord around the car, train, or plane. This is especially helpful when I am feeling unsafe or anxious.

Movement

  • Shake your body. Just like an animal that shakes their body after a scary interaction. Shake to regulate.

  • Roll the windows down and let the air circulate. Feel the wind on your face. Imagine the air cleansing you, taking with it anything that is not for you.

Senses

  • Tune into a sense. On the go I love using my sense of smell. Smell a flower or an oil or an orange and allow each of your cells to experience the scent. Brings you right into the body and the preciousness of this present moment.

Ground

  • Pump your heals up and down. Feel your energy descend when your heels hit the ground.

  • Look outside.

  • Touch a tree. Put your hand on a tree and say hi.
