Hammock Meditation


Lay back in the hammock and get comfy.

I like to have a blanket over my body.

Feel the hammock fold around you in layers of unconditional love. You are in a cocoon. Allow yourself to be heavy and weightless.

Feel yourself being held.

Surrounded in unconditional love.

Now allow a flower to come into your minds eye.

See yourself in the middle surrounded by petals.

Protective loving layers all around you.

Attached to a stem into the ground fortified by roots. See the roots in the dirt and follow them to the center of the Earth.

Down.

Down.

Down.

On your way down experience each of the layers, the dirt, minerals, water, metals, sand, earth.

All of the layers.

Then be in the middle, in the hot glow of home.

Rest here.

Then when you’re ready follow the roots up through all of the layers of nourishment, minerals, water, earth.

Up.

Up.

Up.

Feel where the roots connect through the dirt to the stem.

And back into the center of the flower where you rest.

Breathe here.

Feel restored and renewed.

Be in your body and just be.

Rest here.

Return to this meditation whenever you would like.
